The RFB-1465 14"x6.5" features a 3mm seamless brass shell for unbelievable projection, crispness, and sensitivity.
Features include Reference pivoting lugs for perfect tension rod alignment, MasterCast die cast hoops, SR-1000 Glide Lock strainer with locking lever that prevents the throw off from disengaging no matter how hard you play, and UltraSound SN-1420D Graduated Tension Snares for extended dynamic range and sensitivity.
The SR-1000 GlideLock strainer features a locking lever that will not disengage no matter how hard you play yet releases easily with a push of a button. The snare tension knob also locks to retain snare tension settings. Simply push and turn the knob to adjust and release to lock. Special low-friction "bearings" and high precision castings assure smooth, gliding action.
For the ultimate in metal snare tone, the Pearl Reference Rolled Brass Snare Drum delivers with unparalelled projection, power, and presence. The shell starts as a seamless 8mm cylinder that is precision milled to a final 3mm thickness.
The total weight of the drum is increased with the addition of Reference dual swivel bridge lugs and Mastercast hoops; adding control and power to the drum's lively and articulate tonal nature.
